2. Food

(1) Appetizer

After placing our order, the menu came out fairly quickly. The first appetizer was the Mango & Grape Snowflake Bread, served with a yogurt-flavored sauce. At first, you might be surprised that it's a salad because it comes out in a puff of smoke, but it's a protein-packed, tasty, sweet and sour, fresh salad dish that anyone can enjoy, regardless of whether they like it or not.

Since the naan is hiding at the bottom, try plating the bottom naan on your own plate first, then pile the salad on top and serve with the yogurt dressing. The protein of the naan, the fresh vegetables such as spinach, chickpeas, and olives, and the tartness of the grapes and sweetness of the mango in the yogurt sauce will make your mouth water, while the crunch of the salad, the sweet and sour taste of the fruit, and the dressing will give you a light start to your Indian meal.

(2)  Tandoori chicken

The tandoori chicken is served warm with the sticks lit under the chicken. It was pretty and interesting, like watching a fire show. It's a shame that I couldn't capture it all in the photo. I think the idea of letting you eat the tandoori chicken for quite a while until you finish the whole meal is outstanding. The tandoori chicken is crispy on the outside, but the inside is cooked moist, and it was really delicious.

The dish is served with two "tantoori chicken" that are roaring with delicious aroma.

3. Curries and Naan with Lassi

There were two curries to choose from, so I ordered one called 'Lamb Curry' and the other called 'Chicken Makhni'. For the 'Lamb Curry', it's a curry with big chunks of lamb, and I would recommend it to people who like tender and protein flavors. I think it's cooked very well with the flavors of Indian curry.

The Chicken Makhni Curry came highly recommended by the staff as it is one of the most famous and preferred dishes in Agra. Chicken Makhni also has big chunks of chicken in it, and you can enjoy Indian curry even more deliciously if you serve it with garlic naan, not just lamb curry.

3. Conclusion

I love Indian food because it is healthy and at the same time delicious. Therefore, not only when I'm in Korea but also when I go abroad, I tend to frequently visit Indian cuisine restaurants. If you're planning to visit South Korea and want to experience Indian food in addition to Korean food in Seoul, you should definitely visit Agra which specializes in Indian cuisine!
